Editing & Publishing Campaign Messages

How to save and edit review request email & text messages

When you create a new review profile all of the messages in the review campaign are ready to go - you don't need to make any changes to them, but you do need to publish your text message templates if you plan on sending text messages to your contacts (more on this below).

You'll notice that some messages have a green outline, while others have an orange outline.

The green outline means that the message template is in "published" mode, so it's ready to send out. The orange outline means that the message template is in "draft" mode, meaning that you must publish it in order for the system to send it to your contacts.

By default, email templates (denoted with an envelope icon in the upper left corner) are already published, while text message templates (denoted with a phone icon in the upper left corner) are in draft mode. This is because mobile phone carriers require phone number verification before you can send text messages.

IMPORTANT: Until you get a verified phone numberyou won't be able to save your text message templates in "published" mode (they will remain in "draft" mode). You can still add contacts into the system and they will receive any published email messages during this time. As soon as your phone number is verified then you can return to these settings and save each text message as "published" (by clicking the "Save Message" button on the right side of the screen, and repeating for each text message template). Then any contacts who are added to the campaign will be eligible to receive text messages.

You change message templates from "published" back to "draft" mode or delete them by first clicking the message template to highlight it in light blue, then clicking the dropdown arrow on the "Save Message" button:

And at any time you can save "draft" email message templates to "published" mode by clicking the "Save Message" button (on the right side of the screen). If you have a verified phone number, you can do the same with text message templates.

You can also drag & drop message templates to change their order, or click the "Add Email" or "Add Text" buttons to add an additional message template to the list.
