Editing & Publishing Campaign Messages

How to save and edit review request email & text messages

When you create a new review profile all of the messages in the review campaign are ready to go - you don't need to make any changes to them - but you must click the "Save Message" button to the right of the message template for each message in order to "publish" the message and make it so your contacts can receive that message:

When you save & publish a message, its outline will turn from orange to green in the campaign message list:

This is VERY IMPORTANT so we're going to state it again...

In order to save & publish a message you must:

  1. Click on the message template from the list of message templates on the left side of the screen.
  2. Click the "Save Message" button on the right side of the screen. This will turn the outline of the message from orange ("draft") to green ("published"). Note that you won't be able to save text message templates until you get a verified phone number (more on this below).
  3. Repeat for every message that you want to send to your contacts. Most users publish all of the message templates, including the templates in the "Review Reminders" section.

Got it? Great! Moving right along...

You can change message templates back to "draft" mode or delete them by clicking the dropdown arrow on the "Save Message" button. You can also drag & drop message templates to change their order, or click the "Add Email" or "Add Text" buttons to add an additional message template to the list.

IMPORTANT: Until you get a verified phone numberyou won't be able to save your text message templates in "published" mode (they will remain in "draft" mode). You can still add contacts into the system and they will receive any published email messages during this time. As soon as your phone number is verified then you can return to these settings and save each text message as "published" (by clicking the "Save Message" button). Then any contacts who are added to the campaign will be eligible to receive text messages.
